INTRODUCTION

For years OKECHAMP S.A. has been implementing a dynamic policy of development, managing corporate social responsibility transparently, and researching how the company affects its social environment. Many years of business experience, acquired knowledge, implemented projects, and amassed social capital allow the Management Board of OKECHAMP S.A. to make successful business decisions.

Company values: Integrity, Respect, Quality, Competitiveness, Development, and Friendly Atmosphere are the compass for the daily management of the Company and, at the same time, constitute the obligatory starting point for making difficult decisions, especially those that affect the lives of our Employees.

So far, we have developed a series of documents that deal with Social Responsibility – the Code of Values, the Ethics Policy, the Procedure for Counteracting Mobbing and Discrimination, the Safety Policy, and the Environmental Policy. All of them form a coherent formal basis for the actions and decisions we take. We want this document to be a practical tool and become a starting point for our activities that focus on areas of social responsibility, as defined by OKECHAMP S.A. It can be used to initiate a broader discussion regarding OKECHAMP S.A. social responsibility with various stakeholders.

We expect the managers of OKECHAMP S.A. to be open-minded and actively implement the priorities and social responsibility strategic goals specified in this document. We can develop sustainable solutions only if we work together. We want to follow the right direction with the focus on the complete integration of socially responsible activities with the company's business strategy

CSR PRIORITIES AND STRATEGIC GOALS IN OKECHAMP S.A.

The inspiration for this document comes from the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the findings of the SMETA Ethics Audit conducted at OKECHAMP earlier this year.

The Management Board has defined four key priorities which implement the policy of Corporate Social Responsibility in OKECHAMP S.A. and set strategic goals for them. The priorities point us towards  welcome changes in the designated areas. They comprehensively present the economic, social and environmental dimension of our company's activities planned for the coming years.

The above priorities are consistent with and implement the following

UN sustainable development goals:

OKECHAMP S.A. aims to develop a responsible economy, which means that we focus on growth and development while taking into account the social, financial, and environmental context for all the activities. undertaken by OKECHAMP S.A.

   1.1 Priority > society

  •    We invest in the development and improvement of the ergonomics of our workplace.

   1.2 Priority > economy

  •    We are committed to becoming a leader in the global market.

   1.3 Priority  > environment

  •    We are growing, keeping the interest of all our stakeholders in mind.

   The above priorities may be implemented through the following STRATEGIC GOALS:

       1. SOCIAL

LOCAL COMMUNITY

We take into account the needs of the local community and identify risks. We create new jobs and collaborate closely with local organizations working for the benefit of the region.

TAKING CARE OF THE VULNERABLE

With the help of the OKECHAMP S.A. Foundation, we care for the vulnerable and the suffering. We effectively communicate the  possible assistance available in our company (e.g. benefits).

RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS / SUPPLIERS

We work closely with Clients who share our values in action.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

We acknowledge the need for and support employee inclusion at our organisation. We respect our employees’ right to form and join associations.

 WE MAKE A PROFIT

 We focus on constant growth of performance to share profits with our stakeholders.

 WE ARE COMPETITIVE

 We develop investment plans which are to prepare our Company to become a successful competitor in global markets.

 Our activities are to provide the Company with a competitive advantage.

       3. ENVIRONMENTAL

 WE MAKE INVESTMENTS

 We analyse all investments in terms of their impact on working conditions, environmental conditions,

 and the welfare of our employees. We implement safeguards in the event of a pandemic or other force majeure events.

OKECHAMP S.A. carries out a transparent human resources policy following all the binding legal regulations and the company ethics expressed in its Code of Values. By rewarding the employees fairly for their work and supporting their development, the Company brings real value to the personal lives of OKECHAMP S.A. employees.

        Whatever activities we are involved in, we follow the law, the Code of Values created by our Employees, and the 

        guidelines of external auditors, and we require the same from our cooperating companies

        SAFE WORKPLACE

        We base our health and safety activities on a detailed and in-depth analysis of risks and hazards. We are also preparing

         to introduce a behaviour-based system (BBS) based on the new position of Safety Leader.

        DIVERSITY

         We encourage all employees to integrate diversity and get involved in the Company's culture.

        CONFLICT OF INTERESTS

         We formulate our objectives and tasks clearly, thus eliminating conflicts of interest between employees/departments 

         within the Company.

        COMPANY WAGE POLICY

        We develop a transparent remuneration system, taking into account the value of work and decent living conditions.

        PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

         We keep the personal data of our Candidates and Employees safe.

        EMPLOYMENT POLICY

        We strive to build ergonomic workplaces.

        We focus on environmental education.

While investing and developing its business activities, OKECHAMP S.A. cares for the natural environment by meeting all the legal requirements in this respect and taking initiatives to reduce its impact on the environment.

       We look for solutions to minimise the impact of our activities on the environment and therefore on the lives of residents in our vicinity.

2.  ECONOMIC

      WATER AND ENERGY

      We make sure to save water in the entire production process and optimize energy consumption.

3.  ENVIRONMENTAL

      INTERNAL CIRCULAR ECONOMY

      We create an internal circular economy and strive to reduce waste.

      ECO-FRIENDLY FLEET

      We teach our Employees and OKECHAMP car fleet drivers how to drive ecologically and how to reduce average fuel consumption.

By developing its products, OKECHAMP S.A. does its part in creating healthy and environmentally safe food alternatives and promotes a healthy and balanced daily diet

BALANCED DIET

Our marketing campaigns of the OLE! brand support healthy and balanced meals. We educate Poles how to eat tasty and healthy

   2. ECONOMIC

 NEW PRODUCTS

 We are developing new plant-based products to replace meat products.

   3. ENVIRONMENTAL

 PACKAGING

 We choose ecological materials and reduce material losses in the production process.
